Terms of service
The agreement between you and Reasoning Engine B.V. for using Laze.
The agreement
These terms apply when you use Laze, a service offered by Reasoning Engine B.V., the company behind LangWatch, at Gustav Mahlerplein 5, 1082 MS Amsterdam, the Netherlands ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Laze you accept them. If you use Laze for an organisation, you accept them for that organisation. Questions go to rogerio@langwatch.ai.
Laze is in beta
Laze is under active development. Features change, some may be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Your account
You must be at least 16 and give accurate details. Keep your sign-in safe: you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to it.
Workspaces, members and agents
A workspace's owners decide who joins it, which roles they hold and which agents act in it. Agents act on the instructions of the people who use them, with the access those people and the workspace grant. You are responsible for reviewing what an agent drafts and for the approvals you give.
Your content and personal data
You keep all rights to the content you and your agents put in Laze. You give us the permission we need to host, process and transmit it, only to run Laze for you.
For personal data in a workspace's content, the workspace is the controller and we are its processor. We process it only on the workspace's instructions, with the subprocessors on the list of subprocessors, and a data processing agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR is available on request. For your own account data we are the controller, as the privacy policy describes.
AI output
Agents use AI models, which can be wrong. Check results before you rely on them, especially before anything is sent, published or paid for.
Acceptable use
You may not use Laze to:
- break the law or infringe the rights of others;
- send spam or messages people did not ask for;
- upload malware, or attack, probe or overload Laze or any other system;
- get around limits, sandboxes or security controls;
- break the terms of a service you connect to Laze;
- resell Laze without our written agreement.
Connected services
When you connect another service, such as Google, GitHub, an MCP server or your own Claude or ChatGPT plan, your use of it is also governed by that service's terms. We are not responsible for services we do not run.
When your agents use LinkedIn, WhatsApp or a similar site for you, with or without a dedicated IP, the risk to your accounts on that site is yours. Those sites may limit, block or close an account they find automated, and a dedicated IP does not change their terms.
Fees
Parts of Laze may be free during the beta. Before we charge you, we show the plan, its price and what usage costs, and you agree to it. When a workspace balance runs out, agents and schedules pause until it is topped up.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Laze at any time, and ask rogerio@langwatch.ai to delete your account or, as its owner, a workspace; we do so within 30 days. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we tell you why unless the law prevents it. If we stop offering Laze, we give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your content.
Warranties and liability
Laze is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it is free of errors or fit for a particular purpose, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, or 100 EUR if that is more. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We tell you by email at least 14 days before a material change takes effect; using Laze after that means you accept the new terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam, unless the law gives you the right to go to a court where you live.
