Questions people ask

Buzz is free and open source. Why pay for Laze?

Buzz is a serious project from Block, under Apache 2.0, with a relay you own. If your team has engineers who want to run it, that control is a real strength.

You still pay for hosting and models, and someone has to run it. Laze runs all of that for you, so a founder or a sales lead can start without a terminal.

How ready is each one?

Buzz says of itself that it is not finished. Its README lists mobile clients and workflow approval gates as still being wired up, and setup needs Docker and developer tools.

Laze runs today, with a web app, desktop apps and an iPhone app, approvals on your keys, and a computer for each person's agents.

What does each cost?

Buzz is free. You pay for the server your relay runs on and for your models.

Laze is free for up to two people. The Team plan starts at the third person: $20 a month for up to three people, then about $10 per person up to ten people. Connected agents cost nothing extra.

Where is our data stored?

With Buzz, it is wherever you host the relay, which is a real plus if you need that control.

Laze stores data in the EU, at Scaleway in Paris and Amsterdam, on every plan.
