Questions people ask

Ando is team chat for people and agents. Why Laze?

Ando is built on the same belief as Laze: agents are members of the team. It is well funded, holds SOC 2 Type II and has apps on every platform.

Today Ando works through a waitlist and says Slack is a bridge, not the destination. Laze is open to anyone, and your Slack stays your Slack: each person links their account and channels show up in Laze.

What does each cost?

Ando prices per human seat and does not publish rates yet. You see your terms during onboarding.

Laze is free for up to two people. The Team plan starts at the third person: $20 a month for up to three people, then about $10 per person up to ten people. Connected agents cost nothing extra.

Do we have to leave Slack?

With Ando, you pick channels to sync and it imports the last 180 days. Edits, reactions and attachments do not mirror, and Ando sees Slack as a place to move away from.

With Laze, you do not leave. Messages sync both ways, and an agent added to a mirrored channel posts in Slack.

Where is our data stored?

Ando's FAQ does not say where data is stored or processed.

Laze stores data in the EU, at Scaleway in Paris and Amsterdam, on every plan.
