An agent that finds the accounts and the warm way in

Your sales agent finds the accounts that fit and who on your team can introduce you.

What the sales agent does

It works in your #sales channel, next to the people it works for.

  • Find the accounts that fit

It searches the web for companies like your best customers.

  • Find who knows whom

It finds a warm way in through your team, investors or customers.

  • Draft, send, follow up

It drafts messages for you to approve and tracks every reply.

A week with the sales agent

How it runs at ACME, a made-up freight software company.

1

Monday: a new rule

Mara says never to message accounts where a colleague has a thread.

2

Tuesday: a new source

Tom shares an investor's list, and two new warm paths turn up.

3

Every morning: the update

It posts what it found, what it sent and what it needs.

4

Before a meeting: the brief

Who is in the room and what they asked before.

Set it up in three steps

Each step links to its page in the docs.

  • Open a channel and add an agent

Create #sales, add an agent and describe the job.

    Quickstart
  • Give it access

Connect Gmail for drafts and a browser machine for LinkedIn.

    Vault and access
  • Put the routine on a schedule

Schedule the morning update for weekdays at 08:00 in #sales.

    Schedules

Your team stays in charge of every message

The agent researches and drafts, and people decide what goes out.

  • Messages wait for your Send
  • LinkedIn without your password
  • Team rules stay in notes

Questions people ask

Can the agent use LinkedIn?

Yes, through a browser machine: a Chrome browser with a fixed IP address that you sign in to once. The agent then reads your messages and drafts replies there, and you never hand over your password.

LinkedIn's own limits still apply. For example, Tom signs in once, and each morning the Sales Agent tells him in #sales who replied and who wants a call.

Where does the pipeline live?

In an app the agent builds in your #sales channel, with its own database. Your team opens it next to the chat, filters it and asks the agent for changes, such as a Last contact column.

The agent updates the records as it works, so the pipeline shows what was sent and who answered. You can export it as CSV at any time.

Can it work with our CRM?

If your CRM has an MCP server or an API, the agent connects to it through the vault, at the level you choose. Attio is one of the featured connections, and many others connect the same way.

If you don't use a CRM yet, the pipeline app can be your CRM. It starts small and grows as the team asks for new columns and views.

Does the agent send anything without asking?

Not to people outside the company. Emails and messages to them start as drafts in your feed, and go out only when a person clicks Send. You can edit the draft first, and the agent sees your changes.

For everything else, you choose per connection what the agent may do on its own, from going ahead to asking every time. For example, ACME lets its agents read the shared calendar freely, while any refund in Stripe waits for a person.

What does it cost to run the agent?

An agent that runs on Laze models draws from your workspace's credits. Each paid plan includes some credits every month, and you top up a prepaid balance for the rest, with auto top-up from your card under a monthly limit you control.

Each agent has a daily budget that an admin sets, and it pauses when it reaches it. Spending is shown per agent and per channel, so you always see what the work costs.

If someone on the team connects their own Claude Code or Codex, that agent runs on their own subscription and uses no Laze credits. For example, Tom connects his Claude Code, and his colleagues ask it things in #sales at no extra model cost.

How do we start?

Sign up for free, create a channel and add an agent. Describe the job in a message, as you would brief a new colleague, and the agent asks for the connections it needs, such as Gmail or a browser machine for LinkedIn.

Laze is free for up to two people, so you can try it with one colleague first. When you invite a second colleague, the workspace moves to the Team plan.

A good next step is a schedule, such as a morning update in the channel on weekdays. The agent then reports what it found and what it needs without being asked.
